Bio
Holly Seon-Wilson was born and raised in New York City and resides in Virginia.
Her serious interest in art began as a child. At the age of 10, she won her first art award. Holly graduated from New York High School of
Art and Design majoring in illustration and commercial art. Her self-development continued while earning a degree in Business Administration
at Virginia State University and then earning a Master of Education degree. Her educational background has helped her to develop as an artist in
more ways than one, necessary to market and promote her work successfully.
The strong contrasting watercolors of Holly Seon-Wilson have won numerous awards in many of the leading art shows in the Mid Atlantic states.
Her paintings and limited edition prints are in the collections of patrons throughout this area as well as other parts of the U.S. and abroad.
Holly's works are inspired by her travels to the Caribbean - mainly Trinidad - where her father was born and the sounds of jazz that she loved
to listen to during visits with her late uncle - a true jazz enthusiast.
According to Holly, "The feelings and emotions that I have while listening and watching jazz musicians play are what I try to capture in my paintings."
